Will the magnetic base damage my sewing machine or other equipment?
No. The Lume LED Light is designed to be safe for your sewing machine. The magnetic base provides a secure hold without scratching or marring metal surfaces, and the included mounting disk allows you to attach it to plastic or other non-metal surfaces without leaving residue or causing damage. The magnet is intentionally designed to be strong enough to hold the laser in place, but not so powerful that it will interfere with or harm the electronics found in modern sewing machines or other crafting tools.
How is the Lume Sewing Light powered?

What surfaces does the ruler clamp handle work on?

Can I leave the handle attached while storing my ruler?
The handle can be easily removed and reattached whenever needed. For long-term storage, we recommend removing the handle and storing it separately to keep the suction base clean and maintain the best possible grip performance.
