What is the difference between the three Lightboard sizes?
All three Lightboard sizes offer the same powerful lighting features, magnetic surface, rechargeable battery, and adjustable brightness and color settings. The main difference is the size of the illuminated workspace, allowing you to choose the board that best fits your projects, workspace, and portability needs.
Is the cutting mat included with the Lightboard?
Yes! Each Lightboard includes a dual-grip cutting mat designed specifically to fit the board. The self-healing surface provides a stable work area, while built-in measurements help improve accuracy when cutting and aligning materials.
How long does the battery last?
The built-in 5000mAh rechargeable lithium battery provides approximately 3–4 hours of cordless use at maximum brightness. Lower brightness settings can extend battery life, making it easy to take your Lightboard to classes, retreats, conventions, or anywhere you want to create.
How bright is the Lightboard?
The Lightboard features six brightness levels and three adjustable light colors to fit different projects and lighting conditions. Choose from daylight-white, blue-white, or a softer amber-white setting to improve visibility and reduce eye strain while working.
What makes the Lightboard’s magnetic surface different?
The entire surface of the Lightboard is magnetic, giving you the flexibility to secure your materials anywhere on the workspace instead of being limited to a small magnetic area. While any standard magnet will work with the Lightboard, we offer specially designed high-powered magnets that provide the strongest hold and are ideal for keeping materials securely in place while you work. This makes tracing, pattern transfer, paper piecing, and other detailed projects easier by reducing shifting and frustration.
Are the buttons touch-sensitive?
No. Our Lightboards uses durable mechanical buttons instead of common pressure-touch controls. Mechanical controls help prevent accidental activation, “ghost” turn-ons, and reliability issues that can happen with touch-sensitive buttons, providing a more dependable experience for years of use.
